Your Delivery Will Affect Your Content!

A few years ago my family decided to treat me to my favorite  food by going to a Greek restaurant. I love Greek food so I was really looking forward to the evening. The restaurant was very upscale and clean, however the service ended up being very sloppy and poor. The waitress did not make any effort to connect with us with her eyes nor  her words.  When she brought the food it was like she was slapping the plates on an assembly line, and not only that, the food was cold. She had waited too long before bringing us the food. Even though the food was actually delicious, how it was delivered had a significant impact on our experience and on whether or not we would ever return there.

This is the same affect the delivery of your speech will have on your listeners. Even if you have incredible content, how you deliver that content will profoundly impact your audience’s ability to receive and enjoy  it.

In the next few weeks you will learn some vital tools that relate to the delivery of your message or presentation.   As you reflect on your delivery method and some ways that you may be able to improve in that area, remember this:

If your delivery fails, your content falters, and your audience is left feeling dissatisfied.

Check your awareness quotient and jot down one way you think you can improve your delivery. In the next few weeks you will discover some of the most overlooked areas of delivery that you may not have considered. and learn helpful tools to implement right away.
